Easter Round-up
We've had lots of new joiners recently, and Easter is always a good time for a round-up!
Sophie Toscan du Plantier
This is still by far my most popular cold case. It remains a total mystery after 25 years. You can start with this article but if you look on the Crime Guy homepage you will see a lot of links to my Sophie articles, including some downloadable PDFs to help you research the case yourself.
Why there is no link between Claudia Lawrence and Christopher Halliwell
This post was a bit of an experiment. It polarised you: it got more likes and views than anything recently, but some people really didn’t like the style of it. What do you think? Read more.
Suzy Lamplugh
Suzy Lamplugh is still missing after she disappeared on her lunch break in 1986. Nobody thinks she is still alive, but nobody knows what happened to her. There is no provable link to the media’s favourite suspect, John Cannan, and no credible suspect was ever arrested. It was a massive case from my childhood that gets more puzzling with every revelation. Will it ever get solved? Grab my dossier here.
Jill Dando
Jill Dando was shot on her own doorstep by an unknown killer in 1999. The crime shocked the nation as Jill was a famous TV newsreader and presenter. She presented Crimewatch, which caused some people to think a disgruntled criminal had shot her. This seems not to be the case, but nobody seems to know much. Read more here. I am planning more on this case so stay tuned.
Crime Guy will return soon!
